My heart is full of gratitude as we look back on the Mahalaga Special Gathering and Celebration held last July 7, 2026, at Dara, Hong Kong. To everyone who took the time to be there, thank you for celebrating with us.

Your presence, warm smiles, heartfelt conversations, and unwavering support to the 108th Lions International Convention and to me as your District Governor made the day truly meaningful. What made this gathering special wasn’t just the venue or the program, it was the fellowship we shared as one family.

Lionism reminds us that service goes beyond projects and activities. It is found in the friendships we build, the encouragement we give, and the genuine care we show to one another. This gathering was a beautiful reminder that when we come together with hearts rooted in service, we become stronger, more united, and more inspired to continue making a difference.

To every Lion, Leo, friend, and supporter, thank you for making this celebration one to cherish. Here’s to more moments of fellowship, more opportunities to serve, and more lives to touch together. “Mahalaga! We Serve! Roar!”

District 301-C goes to Hong Kong! Celebrating Service Without Borders! The 108th Lions International Convention in Hong Kong, China brought together thousands of Lions from around the world, united by one mission to serve with compassion, lead with purpose, and make a lasting impact in our communities.

Before the new Lion Year officially begins, true leaders prepare with purpose. On June 13–14, 2026, the District 301-C Cabinet Officers and Committee Chairpersons gathered at Annie’s Lodge, Agoo, La Union, to embark on Project MAHALAGA: Leadership Journey Kick-Off, a meaningful beginning that strengthens our commitment to lead with vision, integrity, and compassion.

Guided by the principles of Lionism, this gathering was more than a planning session, it was a reaffirmation of our pledge to serve. Every discussion, every shared idea, and every commitment made brings us one step closer to creating a greater impact in the communities we serve.

As we begin the Lion Year 2026–2027, we move forward united by one purpose: to lead with heart, to serve with humility, and to inspire through action. Together, we don’t just prepare for a new year—we ignite a journey of service that transforms lives.
