Diabetes Screening Caravan & BP Check Up, Free Eye Glasses Frame Distribution

A comprehensive community outreach program featuring a Diabetes Screening Caravan, Blood Pressure (BP) Check-Up, and Free Eyeglasses Frame Distribution was held on March 22, 2025, in Talogtog, Candon City.

The initiative, organized by members of Lions Clubs International, aimed to promote health awareness and provide accessible medical services to residents in the community.

During the activity, volunteers conducted free blood sugar testing to help detect and prevent Diabetes, along with blood pressure monitoring to identify individuals at risk of hypertension. Health workers also offered consultations and advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper diet, regular exercise, and routine check-ups.

In addition to medical services, free eyeglasses frames were distributed to beneficiaries in need, supporting better vision and improving daily living conditions for many residents.
