Zumba for a Cause: “Groove for Good” at Candon City Plaza

The Candon City Lions Club successfully launched its Lions Year 2025–2026 with a vibrant and meaningful Jumpstart Program through the activity “Zumba for a Cause: Groove for Good” held on July 12, 2025, at the Candon City Plaza.

The event gathered Lions Club members along with dedicated volunteers who came together to show their support for the cause. Through an energetic Zumba session, the activity promoted health, wellness, and community spirit. Participants also availed of free blood sugar testing and were treated to nutritious food as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to public service.

More than just a fitness event, it was a celebration of compassion, unity, and service. The event highlighted the power of collective effort in creating meaningful impact in the community. All proceeds will go to CCLC’s Feeding Program, making each dance move a step toward nourishing lives and fostering positive change. It was truly a day of dancing, giving, and making a difference.
